Confield Associates

Founded by Michael Confield in 2026, Confield Associates is built on a foundation of over 20 years of decorated law enforcement service in the Hudson Valley.  Michael’s career trajectory—from patrol officer to Lieutenant—provided him with deep expertise in investigative areas, community policing, and solving complex criminal cases.  His commitment to justice led to numerous arrests and convictions, significantly improving the safety and quality of life for the communities he served.  Throughout his tenure, Michael was recognized for his specialized skills in DWI enforcement, weapons possession, and domestic incident investigations.  His leadership extended beyond active duty; he was elected President of the Beacon Patrolman’s Benevolent Association (PBA), where he successfully negotiated contracts, advocated for fair and equal treatment for his members and safer working standards.  As a Lieutenant and second-in-command of the department, he transitioned into Internal Affairs, becoming a certified investigator responsible for examining misconduct and use-of-force incidents while managing comprehensive personnel background checks and department hiring.  After retiring from public service, Michael established Confield Associates to offer a more personalized and meticulous investigative approach. Inspired by the legacy of his father-in-law, the late Nicholas Casale, Michael now applies his extensive training and strategic insight to help private clients uncover the truth.  By focusing on individualized cases, he ensures every client receives the concentrated attention and detailed reporting necessary to secure a favorable outcome.
